Adam Wellesley

I started my career in estate agency almost 40 years ago, as a trainee negotiator on the YTS (Youth Training Scheme).

Between 1985 and 1996 I worked for a variety of both corporate and independent firms, covering the areas of Northampton, Milton Keynes and Leicester.

I started Horts in 1996 with Dorian Sanchez, who I met in 1989 at Alliance and Leicester Property Services in Northampton.

We both understood that the estate agency business is as much about people as property. Over the years I have had the pleasure of working alongside some very experienced and professional people and sold some wonderful properties on behalf of many lovely clients.

I am as keen about the estate agency business today as I was when I started.
